Pizzeria Restaurant Taverna in Traben-Trarbach

I had imagined more of it. Pizzas were definitely not 28 cm too little topping for the money. And the noodle dishes viiiiiieeel too small.

Food was good. Plenty of toppings for pizza and calzones. The local could be renovated.

Average pizza and a fairly sterile ambience inside. Anyone who does not expect anything extraordinary will still be satisfied here. The service was good and the waitress very nice.

We were sent away because we didn't make a reservation, but the next customers behind us let them in without a reservation. When asked, the response was rude and insulting. In my opinion, friendly to foreigners !!!! Disgusting!!! Ps .: Whoever chooses the audience and sends the troop away beforehand but then lets in the next ones who have not reserved is racist 😉 One could have suggested customers order food and take it away. But no, instead, people speak in an unfriendly manner and just shoo someone away. Disgusting!!

Interior dated, the terrace was nicer. Pizza was mediocre, the base was dry and zero crispy, probably not in the oven long enough. The tuna topping tasted like metal. The very best, however, was that you no longer had a dry Riesling! That would be the same if I ordered beer in NRW and they didn't have one! No card payment possible, the device was defective. Service was good, but I wouldn't go again. The problem is, the other Italians are rated even worse in Traben Trabach.

I don't want to recommend salad here. That was too little for a lot of money. The pizzas seem to be better here

Service was friendly, terrace pleasant, wine ok. That was it already. Unfortunately the worst pizza in a long time, don't use seafood. Pizza wasn't done, cheese was barely melted, there was water on the pizza. After complaining, 3/4 of the pizza was pushed back into the oven. Rand was then hard, the rest at least through. No word of apology, expected a new pizza. We are used to better things.

Restaurante Pizzaria Taverna an Italian restaurant? When it comes to pasta cabonara (a really simple dish) you can only hold your head and anyone who really knows how to prepare a real cabonara will find that this restaurant does not cook according to original Italian recipes! Those who want to eat original Italian should avoid this "Italian".

We got a place at short notice. The pizza wasn't great. The ambience in the restaurant is bad and not inviting.

We passed without a reservation and got a table immediately and without any problems. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were also very satisfied with the food. I have seldom eaten such delicious tomato sauce.

The atmosphere and service are right. Sufficient for a drink and the Bruchetta was good. However, the most important thing to us is the food and that really failed along the way. Frozen pizza and our pasta from the camping stove are better. We were really very disappointed. The salad was floating in the oil and vinegar and we were charged the full price of the crab salad, although we wanted it without the crab, which is probably the most expensive ingredient. We have really been to many restaurants, but we have never seen anything like it.

The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was rather poor and the interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a simple pub. The pizzas were ok. However, I've never had a worse carpaccio and the bruschetta were a joke. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the "rump steaks" either.

The four of us ate there yesterday. We received a warm welcome, the service was also very friendly, and the food was excellent. Only, the terrace could be swept again. We recommend.

Food was good. Not very special. Pizza was very nice but ask for less cheese! Bill can only be paid in CASH (????!!!) And they do not tell you up front upon reservation. Must be a tax thing? Not normal to not accept pin or credit card these days... Especially in Corona times!

Very delicious pasta. I'm vegan and they were really helpful. People are very friendly.

In contrast to the surrounding restaurants, we were warmly welcomed here without a reservation and a table for two people was made possible at short notice despite the large number of guests. The service was very friendly and courteous, food and drinks came quickly and we enjoyed it very well. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again on occasion.

Very nice eaten in this restaurant, tasty freshly prepared pizza! Portion certainly sufficient!

This is a 100% Italian restaurant. I had the best Italian pizza in Germany.

Great food and atmosphere. Always love Traben Trarbach, our second home away from home.

The pizza is not very good. The dough is very soft, but in places black (whole grain was at least partially crispy). We had ordered the pizza without cheese but with cheese. It was offered to make the pizza new, "that will take a while". After 45 minutes waiting for the first pizza we have waived. I do not know if there is generally no good pizza in the area. 3 points for wholegrain pizza.

A bit quiet, we were the only people in, but the food was excellent and always add it sounds be. Nice terrace to sit out on. We were well looked after and kids loved their good too.

Taste of food is less than average and portions are small. Service is poor especially from one impolite woman server. Not recommended.

Good food and very friendly! Surprise was the terrace with the nice view. Restaurant is run by Italians which is not usual in the surrounding area. ( a lot of forreigners working in the restaurants who don't speak german and bad english) Definitely worth paying a visit!

Very nice place with good Italian food! The bruschetta and the pizzas are my favourites, also the atmosphere with the Italian waitresses is unique!! We will go again for sure. thanks

Amazing! I ate an excellent pizza there (calzone, one of the best in my life!!) and the service is really fast/friendly! I would definitely recommend the food and I will definitely come back if I visit Traben-Trarbach again :)
